R. W. Bechtel
R. W. Bechtel was an American football coach in the United States. He served as the head football coach at Baldwin–Wallace College from 1922 to 1923 and at Albion College from 1924 to 1925, compiling a career college football record of 18–12–4.
Coaching career
Bechtel was the head football coach for the Albion Britons located in Albion, Michigan. He held that position for the 1924 and 1925 seasons. His coaching record at Albion was 9 wins, 7 losses and 2 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2010 season, this ranks him #13 at Albion in total wins and #13 at the school in winning percentage (.556).[1]
